A guy who has a large group of friends often has at least one or two female friends. If you have a female friend that you're interested in romantically, you have to find a way to change the way that she thinks about you and get her to make the first move.

Use your friend knowledge to your advantage. If she has ever confided in you about the type of guy that she likes, then you can use these hints to spark her interest and get her to pursue you.
2Compliment her. If you want a female friend to make a move on you, you need to send out signals to let her know that you're interested. You don't have to go on and on about how beautiful she looks, but you should drop subtle hints by saying nice things to her.
3Tell a mutual friend that you like her. Your friend can pass on the message to her and allow her to decide whether or not she wants to date you.
4Get some time alone with her. You'll find it difficult to flirt if you're always in a group setting. See about getting together one-on-one. You'll have the opportunity to get to know each other better and hint that you think of her as more than a friend.
5Respond if she makes the first move. You don't want to lead her on and then suddenly pull away.
