Signs That Your Boyfriend Is Not Interested in You

Love is one of life's greatest mysteries. Men can be difficult to interpret; it can seem like their romantic interest waxes and wanes like the cycles of the moon. However, although men can be mysterious, their behavior is not entirely unintelligible. It can be hard to tell when a boyfriend's strange behavior is grounds for dumping him, but there are a few telltale signs that he might not be into you anymore.

What if your boyfriend isn't as affectionate as he used to be? If he stops going out of his way to be close to you, stops holding your hand in public or kissing you unless he has to, he might not be worth hanging on to. Affection is one of the best parts of having a boyfriend, and if he is no longer interested in it, publicly or privately, it might be time to call it quits.

Another red flag arises if he avoids having sex or sexual contact with you. If your boyfriend refuses your advances or stops making them himself, it may be a bad sign. If your boyfriend sleeps alone to avoid you or goes to bed early so that he can evade the topic of sex, it might be time to dump him.

All healthy relationships have a degree of openness to them. You should be able to ask a significant other for advice or talk about your feelings. If it seems like your boyfriend has closed up or is keeping secrets from you, there might be a deeper reason for his behavior. Honesty is the best policy in a relationship, and if you feel he might not be being completely honest or is keeping secrets from you, it could be a good time to talk about breaking up.

Being with your boyfriend should make you happy. It's a bad sign if you find yourself dreading seeing him, or if spending time together makes you angry or sad. If spending time with your boyfriend does not make you happy, ask yourself what has changed and if there is a way to fix the relationship.
