How to Meet Good Men to Date

Dating is hard. Meeting men to date is even harder. If you've found yourself in one bad relationship after another, it may be where you met him to begin with provides the answer as to "why." Knowing where to go to meet men, and what mindset you need to be in when you get there, is the key to getting a decent date.

Take a personality Inventory. You've got to know yourself before you can meet a good man. You can find these online. By taking an inventory/quiz, you are going to get a better indication of what is most important to you.

Choose an outfit that really flatters your figure. Make sure it actually fits and is eye-catching. First impressions matter. Put on your best outfit in preparation of the next step and do your makeup--but don't put it on too heavily, because the less obvious, the better.

Decide where your heart is. Take a good long look at your personality inventory and think about what really matters to you. Are you someone who focuses on the spiritual or the natural? Pick a place that represents what matters the most to you, whether it is a church, pottery or yoga class, or even an organizational meeting for a cause you really support. Choose a destination (be sure it's mixed gender and get ready to invest some time there. Bottom line is to get involved.

Invest yourself where it matters. Don't focus on the single guys in the room/sanctuary/temple. This is harder than it looks, but you aren't actually there to meet men. You are there to invest in your passions, which as a result will make you more attractive to men who share those ideals with you. Be prepared for this to take some time.

Say yes when it matters. You don't have to say yes to the first man who asks you out. If you feel hesitant, then go with what your gut is telling you. You may be tempted to say yes right away, but as they say, patience is a virtue. When the right guy does ask you, you'll be available, and because you took the time to get to know yourself better and invested in your passions, you'll have loads of stuff to talk about.
