The end of a relationship can cause hurt, anger and denial. These feelings are a natural part of grieving that occurs after the loss of a loved one, after the end of a marriage or the breakup of a relationship. Moving on when your former partner ignores you isn't easy. Taking steps to rebuild your life can help you move through the grieving process and help you let go.

Surround yourself by caring family members and friends. A support network of people who will listen to you and allow you to cry without judgment are very helpful to processing the feelings that overwhelm you after the relationship ends and he ignores you.
2Seek counseling to help you work through your feelings and make sense of your thoughts. It's very difficult to think straight or subjectively when in the midst of pain and hurt. A counselor can help you work through the process and provide you with objective, compassionate feedback.
3Take care of yourself physically. Get enough sleep, eat healthy foods and exercise. Care for yourself the way you would for a close friend or family member going through loss. Treat yourself to at-home spa treatments and invite or accept invitations with friends for a healthy meal.
4Involve yourself in activities or classes you weren't able to participate in during your relationship. These things can distract your thinking from the broken relationship and get you out around other people.
