How to Get Your Ex to Stop Contacting You With Letters

When a relationship ends, one partner may not be able to move on easily. If your ex has trouble moving past the breakup, she may continue contacting you in hopes that you will get back together. If you do not feel the same, you must let her know that you do not wish to hear from her any longer. It will serve you both to know the relationship is over, allowing each of you to move forward in life.

Instructions

Respond by sending a letter to him once and asking him politely to stop mailing you. Let him know that he needs to move on with his life and that you don't wish to read his letters. You can also say that any future letters will be either discarded or returned unopened.

Phone her if she continues mailing you after receiving your letter. Ask her to stop and let her know that you consider her behavior harassment.

Tell him that you are going to contact the police if his behavior doesn't end.

Call the police if necessary to report her harassment. The police will at least be able to respond to your call by telling her to stop contacting you.
