How to Be a Pick Up Artist

Mastering the art of picking up women can enhance your social life and get you frequent requests to act as a wingman. Knowing how to approach women, without talking yourself out of it, is a difficult task for many guys. Stop playing the background while other, more confident guys take chances and get the girls. Although it helps, good looks aren't a requirement to picking up women. Factors such as confidence are much more important.

Dust off your pickup lines. Although there are countless pickup lines in circulation, most need to be retired. Sort through your arsenal to purge outdated and unappreciated lines. This helps ensure you're not dismissed for using corny, recycled lines. Asking female friends to rate your pickup lines before using them in real-world encounters can improve your success rate.

Take advantage of opportunities as soon as they present themselves. Make quick decisions regarding women you'd like to approach. This helps you avoid losing your confidence or being beaten to the conversation by men that are more aggressive. Survey the woman's general interest in you while making small talk. Let the situation and the woman dictate the best way to proceed. While some women enjoy forwardness, others can become offended by it.

Brush off rejections with a smile. Understand that even pick up artists aren't immune to negative responses. Treat each rejection as a learning experience instead of using them as excuses to stop trying. Storing failures in your memory, along with the understanding of why the approach didn't work, can make future attempts run more smoothly.
