How to Use a Love Breaker Candle

According to Wiccan customs, a separation spell is a ceremony that will drive two people apart. There are spells to break up couples, marriages and even friendships. These ceremonies often make use of objects, and one such object is the love-breaker candle. This candle is simply a black candle that has had love-breaker oil applied to it. Supposedly, this candle has magical properties when used properly in a ceremony.

Instructions

Place both candles side by side in a fire-safe location. Cut the name of one of the members of the couple you want to separate into one of the two candles. Cut the other name into the second candle. Cover both candles in a thin layer of the oil.

Light the candles and let them burn for 15 minutes. Say a quiet prayer about how and why you want the couple to separate. Make sure to include their names in the prayer. Extinguish the candle.

Wait until the next day and separate the candles from each other by 1 inch. Re-apply the oil. Redo the candle lighting and prayer, and extinguish the candle when it is complete.

Repeat each night by moving the candles 1-inch farther apart and redoing the entire ceremony. As legend has it, the couple will begin to drift apart--along with the candles.
