How to Find a Decent Boyfriend

Decent boyfriends are all around you, the problem is that you are unable to notice them, or discard them due to looks, preconceived ideas of the "perfect" guy or because he is "such a good guy." Throw out these notions and choose a boyfriend based on qualities that will endure, such as he is there when you need him; he includes you in his activities; or he shares the same passion for an organization, cause or activity that you do. Looks fade, perfect doesn't exist and nice guys do make decent boyfriends.

Instructions

Examine the relationships around you that you consider good. Ask each partner their primary thoughts as to what makes the relationship work. Build your new relationship ideas around these.

Evaluate the men you already know. Consider the co-worker who remembers your birthday or the barista who always has a smile for you as possible candidates for a boyfriend.

Volunteer at an organization with people your own age. Meet men with the same interests as yourself and make new friends who may know a man that meets your criteria.

Join a club mainly composed of single people. Attend the activities and actively introduce yourself. Learn member's names and schedule movie, dinner or festival events with the group.

Inform all family member, friends, acquaintances and co-workers that you are actively seeking a decent boyfriend. Accept all blind dates offered and give yourself an opportunity to know them before eliminating them for superficial reasons.
