You don't want to put too much pressure on him right away; instead, you'll want him to leave your encounter feeling like you two have cleared the air and gotten rid of any negative feelings.
4Form a friendship with your ex. Keep in mind that this tactic will only work if he's willing to be friends with you and if you think you can slow down your romantic emotions for the sake of rebuilding your friendship and relationship slowly. Getting back to why the two of you came together in the first place - because you truly liked each other - is a great way to restart your couple-hood.
