How to Date an Entrepreneur

Entrepreneurs have little time for dating and relationships. An entrepreneur may build a business around his passion, but he is also obligated to perform a myriad of other tasks, including accounting, marketing, creation, distribution and customer service. If you want to date an entrepreneur, you must understand that an entrepreneur's drive to succeed will keep him busy. A serious entrepreneur's primary focus will be achieving success, so you must be comfortable with his business being a top priority.

Instructions

Avoid calling too often. Entrepreneurs do not like spending a lot of time on the phone unless they are handling business. Call a couple of times a week and keep the conversations short.

Plan short dates. If you take up too much of his time, he will hesitate to date you on a continual basis. Plan a lunch date, a picnic or a short walk on the beach. Always be mindful of the time during your date.

Talk about his business. Ask what it takes to run the business so you will know how he spends most of his time and feel more comfortable about the time you spend apart.

Have a social life. Plan activities during your free time and avoid waiting by the phone or badgering him for not spending enough time with you.

Be patient. Once he is able to hire employees, he will have more free time to spend with you. Be willing to support him as he works hard to accomplish his goals.
