So now you realize that you have met the girl of your dreams and you are madly in love. However, it is a little too late because you guys have already broken up. Unfortunately this realization some times comes after the proverbial well has run dry. So what do you do now?

Think first about what led to the break up. What did you do wrong, if anything? If you could do something differently, what would it be? Also, you have to consider if these things were all done differently, would you honestly still be together.
2Apologize for the things that you did wrong and apologize even for the things that your former mate may feel that you did wrong, Acknowledge her feelings. Even if it does not ultimately lead to your reunion with the girl of your dreams, it is the decent thing to do to provide some closure on what may be a not so happy chapter for one or both of you.
3Think about what you really want out of this relationship. Consider whether this is really what you want or if you are just trying to rid yourself of this feeling of defeat. Sometimes the relationship just may not be salvageable, that is definitely something to be acknowledge.
4Be willing to make changes, not just empty promises. If you are serious about being with the one that you love then open your mind and heart to her needs. This is not just about you, or just about her. It is about both of you as a couple. Be willing to make compromises that will make you both happy.
