Sometimes people develop feelings for others and those feelings are not returned. In some other cases, perhaps you once had feelings for a guy but now your feelings have changed and you want to end it. Its not always easy to get someone out of your life, especially if youre sensitive to hurting their feelings. There are some honest ways to get rid of a guy.

Be honest and tell him how you feel. Dont expect him to read your mind or pick up on any clues youre trying to give out. Tell the guy that youre not interested in being in a relationship with him and ask that he respect your wishes. If you dont want to remain friends with him just tell him you think its best if you both went your separate ways.
2Ignore his attempts to contact you. If he insists on calling you, dont answer his calls and if possible, get his number blocked. Delete any text or voice mail messages he leaves you. Try to avoid any kind of contact with him. He should eventually get the picture that youre really not interested in him and move on.
3Be considerate of his feelings. Although you may no longer have feelings for him, he probably still has feelings for you and you should be sympathetic to his feelings. Be honest in your reasons for no longer wanting to have any type of relationship with him but also be gentle. There is no reason to use cruel or insulting words to get rid of a guy. If possible, try to end things on a good note.
4Do it face to face. You dont want to get rid of a guy by having another person tell him that you dont want to see him anymore. You also should use text messages, instant messages, or emails to break up or get rid of a guy. It is insensitive and also kind of childish not to speak to him face to face. The only instance where you may not want to get rid of a guy face to face is if you know the situation will turn violent or you otherwise fear for your safety.
5Introduce him to someone else. Just because a guy isnt right for you doesnt mean he isnt right for someone else. If you know someone that is interested in him, maybe you could introduce the two of them.
6Get a restraining order. This is only for extreme circumstances such as abusive relationships or if the guy starts stalking you. Sometimes people refuse to leave others alone and you may have to get the police involved. If the situation is extremely uncomfortable for you and you no longer feel safe, you may want to consider relocating to an area where he cant find you.
