How to Get Rid of a Mean Boyfriend

A mean boyfriend can leave you wondering why you ever began a relationship with him in the first place. He is supposed to be a supportive companion, not someone who is mean to you. Even if your astrological signs match, he can be a cancer to every component of your life, and now is the time to get rid of him. Whether he doesn't consider your feelings, doesn't pay attention to you, makes you feel trapped, has bad etiquette or just generally makes you unhappy, you should consider ending the relationship.

Plan the breakup with your mean boyfriend accordingly. Don't wait until the next day, because that day may never come. Designate a time and location.

Tell him you are ending the relationship to his face. Avoid breaking up via phone, text, email, social networking or any other forms of communication. Also, do not have someone else breakup for you.

Decide what you want to say to your mean boyfriend beforehand. This will allow you to stick to the plan, instead of not knowing what to say when the time comes. Make it clear that you no longer want to see him again. Be assertive and direct.

Discuss his strengths and some of the things he did right. Talk about some of the positive aspects of your relationship, but also share with him why you don't want to see him anymore.

Let him respond to you, but don't allow him to charm his way back into a relationship. Stick to your decision and remember that chances are, his mean streak will continue in the future.

Be as open and honest about the breakup as possible. Though fear, anxiety and sadness are natural feelings, it's okay to express them. He will likely find comfort in the fact that this is difficult for you as well, and the breakup may be easier.
