Tips for Women Who Are Dating Bikers

It takes a strong, secure woman to date a biker. Bikers are stereotyped all over the world as being loud, rude, aggressive and just plain outlaws. It's true, a lot of them are, but no more so than your gangsters, your cowboys and any other man or woman wanting a to live free. To date a biker, you must be willing to give a little freedom and allow room for independence.

Bikers are called bikers for one reason: They ride motorcycles. Ladies, if you are afraid of them or hate the big machines, don't date a biker. They love to ride their bikes. It may be just downtown and it may be four hours around the counties, but the result is the same---the wind in their face and the open road in front and behind them. Be willing to let them go, sometimes without you and just with friends, and be willing to hop on in a moment's notice and just ride.

Bad boys attract the ladies; it's a well-known fact. When you date a biker, girls, you need to have high self-esteem. Get used to the fact that other ladies will be checking out your motorcycle man. The style of dress doesn't help matters either. Biker clothes in the summer, when most of them ride, can get pretty skimpy and a lot of ladies don't mind showing off their assets. So be prepared for eyes on you, eyes on your man, and possibly, yours or your old man's eyes wandering as well. Just remember, he is going home with you at night.

It's no secret that bikers love to party. They party together with other bikers and their families and friends. Get out your earplugs if you don't like it loud. Between the engines revving up and the music cranked, your eardrums will be taking a beating. Bikers also stick up for one another. It's called brotherhood and sisterhood. They will bend over backwards to help each other and do what they can to support their fellow bikers. Get ready to meet a lot of new people and a lot of new friends.
